You Will

• Oversee all questions related to tax & compliance in the Company.
• Develop a tax structure for an international group of companies.
• Formalize and control tax planning and tax reporting business processes for multiple jurisdictions.
• Research advanced international tax issues and relevant national/international legislation.
• Perform in-depth research on complex international tax matters, incl. case law.
• Develop tax planning strategies for an international group of companies, and assist in their implementation.
• Develop tax models that illustrate the attributes and effective tax rates of multinational entities.
• Assist in managing all aspects of international income tax and global indirect tax compliance.
• Prepare and review tax returns for multiple jurisdictions (including CIT, VAT/GST, withholding taxes).
• Evaluate and analyse tax implications on new business decisions in various jurisdictions.
• Monitor and analyse tax laws across multiple jurisdictions.
• Identify and mitigate tax risks effectively.
• Support the legal team in structuring the financing arrangements.
• Support tax audit.
• Processing ad-hoc tax-related requests.
  
  

From You

• BA/BS or MA/MS degree in law, tax, economics, business, or other related field.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in international tax structuring and administration (either in-house or legal & accountancy firm).
• Expertise in tax legislation of the countries: Ukraine, Cyprus, the USA, and the UK.
• Strong desire to dive into and explore new countries’ tax legislation.
• Solid international tax skills including research/structuring (using IBFD and other databases), transfer pricing analysis, analysis of tax treaties of limitation on benefits, tax reporting, and dealing with compliance matters.
• English proficiency (Upper Intermediate, Advanced), with strong communication skills, is a must.
• Basic knowledge of IFRS, financial modeling, and analysis.
• Result oriented and highly ambitious: responsible and ready to act independently and take ownership of the results.
