Currently, we are partnering with a leading European investment bank to scale their Global Markets eTrading division.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .Net (C#) Developer to join the Global Markets eTrading team. In this role, you will be part of a globally distributed team, collaborating closely with stakeholders and engineering peers in France and the UK.

You will work on real-time, low-latency, and high-volume electronic trading platforms that allow corporate and institutional clients to execute FX and commodities orders. We are looking for a true end-to-end developer who takes ownership of the entire platform lifecycle—from architecture design and development to documentation and testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Full SDLC Ownership: Participate actively in an Agile-based software development lifecycle, taking responsibility for technical analysis, design, development, documentation, testing, and peer code reviews.
• Architecture & Design Evolution: Provide expert feedback and technical direction on platform architecture, design patterns, and technology choices based on your senior experience.
• Real-Time Engineering: Develop and optimize robust, low-latency backend solutions capable of processing high-volume financial transactions.
• Production & Release Collaboration: Partner with the production support teams to ensure smooth component releases, deployment maintenance, and platform stability.
• UI/Front Integration: Assist and work with Windows client applications and front-end ecosystems using JS/TS libraries where applicable.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of professional software development experience.
• Technical Stack:
• Deep expertise in C# / .Net technologies, specifically applied to real-time systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation).
• Methodologies: Sólid understanding and practice of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Languages: English at a C1 level (advanced/fluent), with the ability to communicate seamlessly within a multinational team daily.
• Core Soft Skills:
• Proven ability to work effectively within a globally distributed team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, analytical mindset.
• Strong desire to dive into new business domains (Fintech/Investment Banking) and learn quickly.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Prior experience or exposure to financial business domains (FX, Commodities, or Fixed Income trading systems).
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript/TypeScript libraries.
