Technical Project Manager – Data & AI

We are hiring on behalf of our partner, a leading AI company developing enterprise-grade generative AI products and intelligent agents. As a Technical Project Manager – Data & AI, you will be responsible for managing and delivering high-impact data infrastructure and AI development initiatives. You’ll collaborate closely with data engineers, AI researchers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure the successful execution of scalable and secure data systems that support advanced AI models.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management: Lead end-to-end delivery of data and AI infrastructure projects, ensuring timelines, scope, and goals are met.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Align efforts across data engineering, ML, DevOps, and compliance teams to streamline workflows.
• Data Systems Oversight: Oversee implementation of data pipelines, warehouses, and integration tools used in AI model training.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure data practices comply with privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA) and ethical AI standards.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, clearly reporting on progress, risks, and dependencies.
• Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs using tools like Jira, Power BI, or similar to manage resources, risks, and delivery metrics.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in technical project management, preferably in data infrastructure, AI/ML, or cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and tools like Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
• Proven track record coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
