Analytics and Insights Supervisor

Job Purpose

dnata Airport Operations’ vast ground handling operations successfully service the major global hub that is Dubai International Airport. We deliver a seamless experience from check-in to baggage delivery for more than 80 million passenger and 140 scheduled airlines annually.

As an Analytics and Insights Supervisor, you will engage, enable, and support the Data Analytics Team in collecting, managing, and coordinating data assets that support Business Intelligence (BI) enablement and analytics projects across the business.

In This Role, You Will

• Deploy
• Collaborate with relevant business departments to assess, gather and document Data Asset requirements that are aligned with business objectives.
• Engage stakeholders collecting & validating requirements that enable prioritisation of projects & reference for Product Team.
• Work alongside the business to promote the capability of data assets & supporting adoption.
• Lead
• Collaborate with both Data Scientists, Governance, and Data Product Team to support them in their tasks and learn their roles and responsibilities within the team.
• Monitor and provide visibility of on-going projects to the leadership with appropriate recommendations or action plans.
• Have a passion to enhance analytical skills & capacities within the team and actively pursue tasks and objectives to achieve this goal.
• Execute
• Support planning & prioritisation of requirement delivery
• Ensure requirements support streamlined estimation & development by the Product Team
• Support the creation of data assets through development, testing or analysis
• Identify source, prepare and maintain data required for Data Assets and Analytics projects or initiatives
  
  

Qualification

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

• Secondary school qualification (12 years schooling) and 2+ years of experience in a data driven environment
• Additional qualification or certification relevant to data analysis
• Experience working with data assets that support a business need.
• Understanding of how data is sourced and managed in a business environment.
• Familiarity or knowledge of languages such as SQL, Python, R, etc.
• Familiarity or knowledge of visualisation best practise & enablement of data storytelling.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
