Data Product Analyst

This is a 12-month extendable contract role based on-site in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Candidates must already be based in the UAE. The position sits within a product team and focuses on translating data into actionable insights that support product decisions, feature development, and user experience improvements. It is well suited to an early-career professional looking to deepen expertise in product analytics, user research, and product strategy within an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze product, customer, and market data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Monitor and evaluate key product metrics, KPIs, and performance indicators.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Support Product Managers in making data-driven decisions related to product features, enhancements, and roadmap prioritization.
• Conduct user behavior analysis to better understand customer needs, preferences, and pain points.
• Assist with user research activities including surveys, interviews, and usability studies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business and product requirements.
• Contribute to product discovery, requirements gathering, and continuous product improvement initiatives.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reporting and analysis activities.
• Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitive products.
  
  

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in product analysis, business analysis, data analysis, or a comparable role.
• Internship or academic project experience in analytics, product management, or business intelligence is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and communicate data insights clearly.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using spreadsheets, BI tools, or analytics platforms.
• Solid understanding of key product metrics and KPI measurement frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and requirements engineering practices.
• Knowledge of user research techniques and design thinking frameworks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Must be based in the UAE at the time of application.
