Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Java Developer based in Warsaw, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Senior Java Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications. Day-to-day tasks include coding, testing, debugging, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to create scalable software solutions. The developer will also be expected to contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle and ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Qualifications:

This position is for the Data Intelligence team, so it's not about the navigation functionality but about internal tools and platforms for managing and working with the system's data which are further used by other development teams. We're looking for people with strong skills with Java itself, object-oriented programming, good database knowledge (primarily SQL but experience with noSQL DBs would also be handy) and hands-on experience with cloud technologies (any cloud would do). The main stack here would be Java, Tomcat, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Jersey and NginX, however, readiness to learn and start using new technologies would be highly appreciated - might happen that eventually you'll need to work with something outside of this initial stack.

Good English is important - the team is international so you'll be working closely with people from Ukraine, Poland, Israel and the US, so the main language for internal communication is English.
