ROLE DESCRIPTION

As a Mobile Software Engineer at Technetix, you will play a key role in developing multiplatform software to control and optimize our cutting-edge hardware solutions, which are our smart amplifiers, that power high-speed internet and digital media globally. The mobile applications are hybrid applications, which means that they should work off- and online. Our smart amplifiers can be located in zones, where there is not internet.

You will work in a 25-member R&D team, including a 6-person Software Team, collaborating with hardware, firmware, and business teams in an Agile/Scrum environment. Your contributions will ensure reliable, high-performance solutions for clients like Vodafone Ziggo, Comcast, and Liberty Global.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

• Software Development Analyse, design, develop, test, and deploy multiplatform mobile standalone software solutions for Android and iOS (using HTML/CSS, JavaScript, React Native, Java/Kotlin, Swift, and SQL)
• Software Maintenance Maintain and troubleshoot existing software to ensure reliability and performance under all conditions
• Deployment Support Support mobile software deployment and release processes, leveraging CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket)
• Tool Maintenance Contribute to maintaining software development tools, including Xcode, Android Studio, Visual Studio Code, and Jira/Confluence
• Agile Collaboration Work proactively in an Agile/Scrum environment, balancing independent design decisions with team collaboration and taking ownership of tasks

KEY PROJECTS

NeuronX Our newly developed automation platform, Neuron X, is a game-changer in the realm of engineering, design and maintenance, automated network maintenance, optimized power usage, error reduction, and minimizing field impact to our customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills:

• A Bachelor or Master’s degree ICT / Computer Science
• Knowledge about software lifecycle: Analyse, Design, Develop, Test and Deploy
• Proficiency in:
• Logic (Backend): Java, Swift, JavaScript and React Native
• User Interface (Frontend): HTML/CSS, JavaScript, React Native
• Database: SQLite
• Able to collaborate with diverse teams (Hardware, Firmware, Software & other Stakeholders)
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with CI/CD (Bitbucket)
• Strong English communication skills
• Dutch communication is considered an advantage
