IT Network Technician

We are looking for a detail-oriented Network Operations Engineer with strong troubleshooting skills and a solid understanding of network tools, scripting, and monitoring systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining and improving network performance, supporting operational workflows, and ensuring consistent and reliable IT services.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience with IP network troubleshooting.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with DNS configurations.
• Experience using Splunk, SolarWinds, or other monitoring platforms (3+ years).
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms (2+ years).
• Experience in server batch scripting and automation (2+ years).
• Experience with Cisco tools like ISE and Catalyst switches (2+ years).
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills (2+ years).
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Basic understanding of mainframe batch processing.
• Python scripting experience for automation and data parsing.
• Familiarity with Ansible for configuration management.
  
  

Education

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Networking, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
