Job Description

• A Cybersecurity Analyst protects an organization’s computer systems and networks from cyber threats like hacking, malware, and data breaches.
• They monitor security tools, investigate suspicious activity, and implement safeguards to ensure information remains confidential, secure, and compliant with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor systems for security breaches and threats
• Analyze incidents and respond to attacks in real time
• Maintain and update firewalls, encryption, and other security tools
• Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability testing
• Prepare reports and advise teams on improving security posture

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection
• Experience with tools like SIEM, antivirus, and endpoint protection
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or Cybersecurity
• Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, etc.
