Skills Required:

Expertise in routing, switching, and network troubleshooting.

Load Balancer Management - Configuration and optimization of F5, Nginx, or other load balancers.

Managing and securing firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet).

Cloud Networking – Understanding AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud networking concepts and security.

Job Responsibilities:

• The candidate should have a solid foundation in networking including routing, switching, security and load balancing.
• Good at performing troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment under pressure by understanding the nature of the issue or traffic flow based on information shared by non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work and troubleshoot on multi-vendor network comprising of Juniper, Pal Alto, ADC etc.
• Deep, hands-on experience with TCP/IP protocols including capturing and analyzing traffic with Wireshark and/or other tools.

Required qualification

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in working on Internet and data centre networks.
• Possess a solid understanding of and have experience with most of the following network technologies: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, HSRP/VRRP, IPSEC, SNMP etc.
• We're looking for candidates with 7–10 years of experience, a diverse background in routing, security, and load balancing, and a strong willingness to learn and grow. Overly experienced profiles are not preferred.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud computing technologies (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, etc.) across Windows and/or Linux
• Any must-have technologies or certifications Hands-on with Routing & Switching plus related technologies, TCP/IP, Cisco IOS/NX-OS, JunOS, packet analysing, working for multi-vendor network, working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Whether the focus is more on cloud networking or traditional infrastructure Traditional but should have at least 2 years of cloud networking
• If experience with specific vendors (e.g., Palo Alto, F5, Juniper) is essential Minimum Palo A lot or F5, but both will be preferred
• The importance of automation/scripting skills experience in one or more automation languages (PowerShell, shell script, python, ansible, terraform) is a big plus.
• Any soft skills or team dynamics that are critical for this role Good team player, strong communication skills, empathy for customers, ability to deal with ambiguity
• Azure Core Platform: Compute, Storage, Networking.
• Experience in one or more automation languages (PowerShell, shell scripts, Python, Ansible, Terraform) big plus.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): using DevOps, Bit Bucket, GitHub.
• Familiarity with Cisco IOS/NX-OS, JunOS & PAN-OS operating systems is required.
• F5, Cisco ASA & Fortinet knowledge and experience strongly desired.
• Ability to utilize network monitoring applications such as Cacti, Splunk
