We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to assist with the physical installation (rack and stack) and remote configuration support for an Engenious network switch at a client site in Edgartown, MA. The ideal candidate will have experience in on-site networking installations and the ability to coordinate with a remote engineering team for switch configuration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site rack and stack of networking hardware, including Engenious switch and related components.
• Ensure proper cabling, power connections, and labeling.
• Coordinate with remote engineers to support remote configuration of the switch.
• Verify device connectivity and report status post-installation.
• Adhere to client site access and safety protocols.
• Document installed equipment and submit post-installation photos and checklists.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in network hardware installation (rack and stack).
• Familiarity with Engenious or similar network switches.
• Understanding of basic network concepts: IP addressing, switch configuration, connectivity testing.
• Ability to follow remote instructions from engineers for switch setup.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work independently at the client site.
• Must have basic installation tools (screwdrivers, cable tester, etc.).
• Smartphone with camera and email access for communication and documentation.
