Role Overview:
Aracor.AI is an innovative LegalTech startup leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) to simplify and streamline document analysis for lawyers. Our web-based application currently utilizes Azure services, with plans to migrate to Kubernetes for greater flexibility in cloud provider choices. Our code is hosted on GitLab, with established CI/CD processes for code checks, test runs, and deployment. We aim to keep our tech stack as small and simple as possible for ease of management. We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to handle this migration to Kubernetes. This role will lead DevOps as both architech and engineer. Must be a self-reliant, self starter, with an established track record of building infrasture from scratch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration of our codebase to run on Kubernetes.
- Ensure smooth deployment, scaling, and management of our services on Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with the development team to integrate Postgres, Qdrant, Redis, and websockets into the Kubernetes environment.
- Enhance and maintain our existing CI/CD pipelines on GitLab to support the Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Monitor and optimize the performance, security, and cost-efficiency of our Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for production issues.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong focus on Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services and their integration with Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Solid understanding of cloud-native applications and infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Python, ReactJS, TypeScript, websockets, Celery, and FastAPI.
- Experience with Postgres and Redis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Leader who proactively communicates rather than waiting for instructions, self-led/autonomous
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with additional cloud providers (AWS, GCP) is a plus.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture is a bonus.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD and Github.

- English (native/fluent)
