VP | Renewable Energy

Our client – a dynamic, fast-growing infrastructure developer focused on renewable energy – is looking for a Vice President to join their team in Vienna. This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership role with high impact across M&A, development, and strategic growth initiatives in the clean energy sector.

The Role

As VP, you’ll be a key driver of the firm’s investment and development activities across Europe, supporting the execution of renewable energy transactions and building out the platform’s long-term portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute M&A transactions in renewable energy infrastructure (solar, wind, storage, etc.)
• Oversee project development, from acquisition through to commercial operation
• Drive financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and deal structuring
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders (developers, advisors, lenders)
• Contribute to strategic planning and capital deployment across the platform

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in renewable energy M&A or infrastructure investment/development
• Strong financial modeling and transaction execution skills
• Track record of closing deals in clean energy or energy transition sectors
• Experience working with cross-functional and cross-border teams
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
