The Role
We’re looking for a Product Owner to join Bridgit’s fast-growing team in Sydney. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their product journey who’s passionate about solving customer problems and eager to make an impact in a high-growth fintech.
What you’ll do:
- Work with the Head of Product to prioritise and track product ideas, features, and improvements.
- Help scope projects, define tasks, and assist in managing timelines and deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g. tech, design, operations) to ensure smooth product delivery.
- Translate customer feedback and internal ideas into clear requirements for our developers.
- Support the testing and rollout of new features, helping ensure a high-quality user experience.
- Keep documentation, tasks, and updates well-organised using tools like Jira, Confluence or Trello.
- Be the voice of the customer, help us stay aligned with their needs and expectations.
- Assist in gathering and analysing data to inform product decisions.
What we’re looking for:
- 1–3 years’ experience in a related role (e.g. project coordination, operations, marketing, business analysis, or customer success).
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Clear and confident communication, both written and verbal.
- A proactive, can-do attitude and comfort with ambiguity.
- Interest in technology and product development—you don’t need to be technical, but you enjoy working with technical teams.
- Bonus points for any exposure to tools like Jira, Trello, Notion, or similar.
