Senior IT Platform Engineer for Engineering Tooling team (freelance/B2B, hybrid from Vilnius)

About the Role:

An IT Platform Engineer ensures the availability, stability, and integrity of the company’s Platform. Furthermore, the Engineer monitors, maintains and evolves platform and troubleshoot problems that may arise and in addition to that, the Engineer maintains platform integrity and security.

Location: Hybrid from Vilnius (2 days onsite per week)

Requirements:

• Proven experience in DevOps
• Proven experience in CI/CD processes
• Proven experience with Github Enterprise Cloud
• Creating and managing reusable workflows
• Creating and managing custom actions (composite, JavaScript)
• Proven experience with Azure DevOps Server and Services
• Creating and managing pipeline templates
• Creating and managing extensions
• Proven experience working with AWS public cloud resources and services
• Proficiency with IaC (Terraform)
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration (OpenShift, K8s)
• Proficient in at least one programming language C# or Golang

Responsibilities:

• Designing and Standardizing centrally managed CI/CD pipelines including (but not limited to) deploying software products to AWS public cloud
• Developing GitHub Actions (JavaScript, Composite)
• Designing and creating re-usable GitHub Workflows with centralization and standardization in mind
• Transforming Azure DevOps standard templates to re-usable workflows
• Azure DevOps pipelines transformation to GitHub Workflows
• Integrating Test Automation into CI/CD
• Integrating with IDP (Internal Developer Platform)
• Automation and Self-Service for our solutions.
• Contribute to documentation and guides for developed CI/CD solutions.
