Product Designer (Contract)

Role:

Havas is looking for an experienced Product Designer to help shape meaningful and intuitive digital experiences for some of the world’s leading brands. You'll partner with a diverse and passionate team of Strategists, UX Designers, Visual Designers, Developers, and Clients to design experiences that balance user needs, business goals, and technical realities.

What we expect you to do:

• Lead the end-to-end product design process—from discovery and research to prototyping, testing, and handoff
• Translate business goals and user needs into clear journeys, flows, wireframes, and polished UI
• Partner with UX strategists, developers, and clients to define problems and co-create solutions
• Advocate for design thinking and drive product strategy through user insights
• Build, evolve, and maintain scalable design systems and component libraries
• Present and defend design decisions with clear rationale and user-backed logic
• Bring new ideas to the table by challenging conventions and pushing boundaries
• Stay on top of trends in design, technology, and product thinking

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience working on agile/sprint-based projects
• Skills in motion design, animation, or microinteractions
• Familiarity with front-end development principles
• Background in service design or customer journey mapping
• A strong POV on design ethics, sustainability, or inclusive practices

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Product, UX, or Interaction Design
• Experience working in an agency setting
• Expertise in Figma, with bonus points for experience using FigJam, prototyping tools, and dev handoff platforms
• Solid understanding of design systems, accessibility standards, and responsive design
• Experience working in cross-functional teams, especially in agency or fast-paced environments
• A portfolio that showcases holistic thinking, process, and end results across web and/or mobile platforms
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to advocate for users and design at all levels
