We are seeking an enthusiastic HR professional to join the People Experience Operations Team at our Sydney CBD office, hybrid working arrangements available.
This role is key to maintaining a positive team member experience for our leaders and people. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, while autonomously managing Tier 1 & 2 people queries, and driving people experience initiatives.

We are seeking an enthusiastic HR professional to join the People Experience Operations Team at our Sydney CBD office, hybrid working arrangements available.
This role is key to maintaining a positive team member experience for our leaders and people. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, while autonomously managing Tier 1 & 2 people queries, and driving people experience initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Respond to Tier 1 & 2 HR queries, including onboarding, benefits, policy interpretation, and people systems support.
- Generate employment contracts, variation letters, and other people documents within defined SLAs.
- Support onboarding, offboarding, and people processes, continuously identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Create and update people related knowledge articles to enhance self-service for team members and leaders across Lion.
- Create an engaging, personable, and customer service focused experience for our people
- Support and/or lead people experience initiatives and projects
- 2+ years of HR Administrator/Coordinator experience.
- Previous experience in customer service and/or a corporate shared services environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to independently balance day-to-day tasks (contract generation, Tier 1 & 2 queries) with proactive, self-driven HR initiatives.
- Familiarity with HR systems and processes, with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Excitement for creating a great people experience, and confidence in reaching out to others to solve problems quickly—whether online, by phone, or in person.
- Comfortable working autonomously, taking the initiative to escalate or seek support when needed.
- Enthusiasm for working as part of a team and proactively supporting others.
- Motivation to grow your HR career, whether in a P&C COE area or as a generalist.
