Network Engineer - High-Frequency Trading - Sydney

**OFFERING UP TO $250,000 BASE + $65,000 BONUS + SUPER**

**HYBRID ROLE**

A leading high-frequency trading firm is based in Sydney is seeking an adept Network Engineer to help build out their APAC network infrastructure, maintain their low-latency environment, and develop and implement innovative new automation solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement new LAN/WAN solutions
• Support and maintain LAN/WAN environments
• Deploy infrastructure within APAC Data Centres
• Support and maintain Data Centres
• Design and implement Office Network solutions
• Support and maintain Office Network Solutions
• Research and implement innovative new solutions to optimize infrastructure capacity and reliability
• Collaborate with the development team to build and implement new automation solutions
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure the stability and scalability of the Unix infrastructure supporting critical trading systems

Requirements:

• Extensive experience designing, implementing, and maintaining LANs and WANs
• Extensive experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Campus LAN networks
• Extensive experience designing and implementing Data Centre Solutions
• Extensive experience maintaining Data Centre infrastructure
• Experience working on global networks
• Experience working with global multi-tier firewall architecture
• Experience administrating Unix infrastructure
