Responsibilities:

• Full ownership of operational HR administrative duties: on-boarding and off-boarding of employees, recruitment, dealing with employee HR queries, and other related admin duties;
• Supporting full end-to-end recruitment, promoting collaborative approaches to achieve the strategic and operational priorities of the business ensuring the attraction and engagement of a quality workforce;
• Partner with people leaders and provide support in the effective delivery of people strategies and hands-on management of people issues in the business;
• Be the first point of contact for all internal and external HR related enquiries.
• Respond as appropriate utilising knowledge of HR frameworks, policies and systems;
• Manage various reports and other related documents;

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of related experience in a similar HR generalist role with operational responsibility;
• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources is desired but not essential;
• Experience in the construction machinery or similar industry is preferred;
• Good knowledge and demonstrated understanding of Fair Work and HR best practices in Australia;
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team;
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
