Junior Compliance Specialist

SHORT DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Compliance Specialist to join our Legal and Compliance team. In this role, you will support the onboarding of B2B clients and play a key part in the expansion of our global client portfolio while ensuring adherence to industry compliance standards. You will work closely with the Compliance Specialist, gaining hands-on experience in due diligence and client onboarding workflows, and will receive ongoing support and training to grow in your career.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with KYC/CDD onboarding reviews, ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and any applicable regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and maintain detailed client profiles, accurately recording due diligence information.
• Conduct research using public databases to verify corporate and individual data.
• Perform PEP, Sanctions, and Adverse Media screening and document results appropriately.
• Participate in periodic KYC/CDD reviews and ensure up to date record keeping of clients profiles.
• Proactively escalate risk concerns or red flags to the Compliance Specialist for enhanced reviews.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders by providing onboarding guidance in a professional and supportive manner.
• Maintain high standard in documentation, confidentiality, reporting, and internal communication.
• Provide ongoing support to the Compliance Specialist and Legal colleagues in managing clients onboarding workflows.

REQUIREMENTS

• 0-1 year of experience in a KYC, AML or similar role (training will be provided)
• Strong research, analytical, and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, team player with a professional, approachable attitude.
• High attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
• Client-oriented mindset with a high level of integrity and ethical awareness.
• Eagerness to learn and develop particularly around KYC and client onboarding best practices.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential.
• Additional language skills, especially Spanish and/or Portuguese is considered an advantage.
• Previous experience in the iGaming industry is a plus but not required.
