Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, ensuring performance, availability, and security.
- Perform system patching, apply security updates, and manage server configurations.
- Handle incident response, root cause analysis, and resolution of Windows-related issues.
- Monitor system health, performance, and logs using industry-standard tools.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, and user access controls.
- Coordinate with other IT and infrastructure teams for backups, recovery, and maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on configurations and procedures.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Windows Server administration (2016, 2019, or later).
- Experience with patch management, security hardening, and system monitoring.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a solid understanding of Windows internals.
- Proficiency with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and administrative tasks.
- Knowledge of virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
