Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join the SIM/ADP Chapter supporting the Service Integration and Management Chapter Area. The SIM Chapter Area focussing on all competences required to deliver a stable and reliable IT infrastructure to our internal customers.
You will get an in-depth view and will be actively involved in the future SIM and IT Infrastructure plans and you will be actively participating in the further transformation. The newly created SIM Chapter Area results in important changes in our ways of working and is one of the big Projects, next to the IT Infrastructure Project Portfolios.

You are a born organiser with excellent organisational and communication skills and you are keen on setting-up, structuring and following up of a portfolio of Projects by means of a solid approach. You handle this in a pragmatic way.
You provide support, governance, and oversight to project managers and teams across the SIM Project portfolio, ensuring alignment with SIM and Proximus goals and strategies.

Your tasks include
- Establish, refine and optimize a PMO project governance framework to ensure projects align with Proximus objectives and policies,
- Provide in depth project and program management advice and assistance to all SIM projects,
- Provide regular, clear correspondence to stakeholders, including Proximus and suppliers, on project status,
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation,
- Monitoring of project progress, tracking key performance indicators, and implementing corrective actions / escalating, when necessary / enforcing quality standards to meet stakeholder expectations,
- Monitoring of project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring projects are delivered within budget,
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks to minimize their impact on project outcomes,
- Provide generic and specific support for the development and content of business cases, project plans, and review and audit reports,
- Review and audits the management of projects and programs to ensure conformance to Proximus standards and recommends changes where performance is found to be suboptimal or below levels required by SIM,
- Provides a comprehensive program-wide perspective to maintain consistency and address interactions between projects effectively within SIM,
- Escalation Management (level of authority and approval permissions to be agreed).
- Leadership: ability to guide and motivate Project Portfolio Teams.
- Project Management Expertise: proven experience with program and / or project management approaches, in both agile and non-agile contexts.
- Organizational Skills: excellent ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Interpersonal Skills: strong communication and collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
- Risk Management: ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks in collaboration with other teams.
- Financial Management: proficiency in handling budgets and cost control.
- Technological Affinity: familiarity with IT and cloud technologies.
- Problem-Solving: proven skills to address challenges and find effective solutions.
- Personal Efficiency: ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proactivity and Adaptability: capability to handle changes in project priorities and environments adequately.
- Cultural Competence: ability to work effectively with diverse cultures and understand different cultural perspectives.
- Diplomacy and Confidentiality: Skill in handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality in projects.
- Language Proficiency: fluent in English (writing and verbal).
- Bachelor- or master’s degree or equivalent through experience.
