AI Engineer / Machine Learning Engineer (LLM & Applied ML)

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy machine learning models to support personalization, content recommendation, learner insights, and adaptive learning.
  • Build and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines: data preprocessing, training, evaluation, and deployment.
  • Implement robust MLOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and model lifecycle management.
  • Leverage Large Language Models (e.g., GPT, Claude, LLaMA) to enhance product capabilities such as intelligent assistants, automated summarization, and contextual learning tools.
  • Integrate vector databases and RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) systems for semantic search and context-aware generation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical implementation with educational goals.
  • Ensure models are robust, ethical, explainable, and secure in a production environment.

Skills & Experience

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience developing and deploying machine learning solutions in production.
  • Strong Python coding skills and proficiency with ML/NLP libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
  • Applied experience with LLMs, generative AI, or NLP frameworks (e.g., Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, OpenAI API).
  • Experience working with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma) and RAG pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of ML algorithms (supervised, unsupervised, deep learning) and their practical use cases.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based ML services (e.g., AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI).
  • Knowledge of MLOps tools (e.g., MLflow, Weights & Biases) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Bonus: Experience with speech and language translation (ASR, S2ST), graph algorithms, or reinforcement learning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Passion for using AI to solve meaningful problems in education.
  • Preferrably Master Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
