PHP/Laravel Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for development and maintenance of software applications
• Development and integration of software components
• Building reusable code for future use
• Understanding and implementation of security and data protection
• Participating in the design and creation of scalable software
• Maintenance of code integrity and organisation
• Writing clean, functional code on the front-end
• Compile and analyse data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement
• Production of technical documentation
• Testing and fixing bug fixes or other coding issues
• Systems integration
• Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system

Requirements

✅ Education: University degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.

✅ Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in similar roles.

✅ Language Skills: C1 level of English (spoken and written).

✅ Technical Expertise:

• Strong background in PHP with Laravel or Symfony
• Drupal portal experience is a plus
• Familiarity with full-stack development
• Experience in web security, authentication protocols, and API integration
• Understanding of design principles and ability to quickly learn new technologies

✅Tools & Environments

• IDEs: Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, PhpStorm
• DevOps & CI/CD: Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Sonar, Bamboo, Nexus, Crucible
• Collaboration: JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow
• Agile Tools: PM², PM² Agile, Scrum, Kanban

✅Certifications (at least one of the following)

• Oracle Certified Professional
• PM² Agile
• BPMN 2.0

Work Setup:

This role is based in Belgium, with a hybrid arrangement requiring 3 days onsite. Remote work from other countries is not permitted.

Eligibility Requirements:

Due to confidentiality matters, EU nationality is required, and a PSC (Personnel Security Clearance) will be requested.
