What you will do:

The position involves building and maintaining RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot, working with Hibernate/JPA for data persistence, and applying modern Java features for efficient data processing. The developer will also support API documentation using OpenAPI and ensure code quality through unit testing with JUnit and Mockito.

What you should know/have to succeed in this role:

• Hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot
• Knowledge of REST API design and development
• Experience with Hibernate / JPA
• Knowledge of functional programming concepts
• Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito
• Familiarity with OpenAPI / Swagger for API documentation
• Strong experience using Git for version control
• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)
• Solid problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Fluent in English

Nice to Have

• Exposure to microservices architecture
• Basic knowledge of Docker or containerization
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
• Interest in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
