The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Digital Project Manager to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in managing web development and UI/UX design projects, especially within a digital or development agency environment. You will be responsible for leading projects from concept through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage web development and UI/UX projects across major CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, and other custom solutions, from initiation to delivery
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client requirements and business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, designers, marketers) to ensure projects are executed to the highest quality
- Oversee the UI/UX design process, ensuring user experience best practices are applied throughout the development lifecycle
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing relationships, setting expectations, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and risks, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary to maintain project timelines and quality
- Conduct post-launch reviews, gathering client feedback and implementing lessons learned to enhance future projects
About You:
- Proven experience as a Digital Project Manager, preferably within a digital or development agency
- Strong understanding of web development processes, technologies, and tools, with hands-on experience managing projects on platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, and other CMSs
- Solid background in UI/UX design management, ensuring user-centred design principles are applied effectively
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong client relationships and managing stakeholder expectations
- Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Asana, Trello, or similar platforms
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) is a plus but not essential
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Web Development, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in digital project management, preferably within a digital or development agency environment
- Strong understanding of web development processes, technologies, and experience managing projects on CMS platforms like WordPress and Shopify
- Proven experience managing UI/UX design projects, ensuring user-centred design principles are effectively applied
- Proficiency in using project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Trello) and familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills with a track record of managing stakeholders effectively
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
- Knowledge of eCommerce platforms (e.g., Magento, WooCommerce) and API integrations
- Familiarity with UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Previous experience in a digital marketing or agency environment, with a solid understanding of how digital marketing strategies integrate with web development projects
