About the Role:
An innovative AI-driven healthcare company is looking for a Senior and Staff Machine Learning Engineers to lead the development of their ML platform and infrastructure. This company is transforming cancer diagnostics and treatment by leveraging high-quality biomedical data, cutting-edge machine learning models, and a rigorous scientific approach.
As a Staff ML Engineer, you will play a key role in defining technical architecture, ensuring scalability, and driving innovation in deep learning, cloud infrastructure, and MLOps. You'll collaborate closely with engineering leads, researchers, and industry experts to develop impactful solutions in digital pathology and medical AI.
What Youβll Do:
β Define and drive the architecture for AI models and infrastructure
β Design scalable ML systems for training, evaluation, and inference
β Provide technical leadership and mentorship across engineering teams
β Optimize model deployment, monitoring, and performance in production
β Advocate for MLOps best practices, experiment tracking, and CI/CD pipelines
β Research and implement state-of-the-art deep learning techniques
What Weβre Looking For:
πΉ Experience: 8+ years in ML engineering, with 2+ years in a senior or staff-level role
πΉ Technical Expertise: Python, C/C++, deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
πΉ ML Systems & Cloud: Experience with distributed ML platforms, cloud technologies (AWS, GCP), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Kubeflow, Airflow)
πΉ MLOps & Scalability: Hands-on experience with ML model deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure as code
πΉ Communication & Leadership: Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor engineers
πΉ Bonus: Experience with biomedical data, digital pathology, or regulated environments
