About the job:

We seek a highly skilled and motivated Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of data and AI solutions tailored to the unique needs of our financial services clients. As an Analytics Engineer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and intuitive Data and Gen AI workflows that enhance our clients' operational capabilities and drive business success. In this role, you will interact with Clients, Business Analysts, and Engineers, performing the crucial task of analysing and validating business requirements and translating them into detailed data and analytics solutions. Key responsibilities include:

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and efficient data solutions using industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable plans.
• Architect and implement software systems that adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance and mentor junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Work with cutting-edge data products and platforms, notably Palantir Foundry and Palantir AIP
• Participate in testing, release cycle, and QA processes relating to client deployments.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and successfully deliver software projects within established timelines and budgets.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and advancements in the financial services industry to drive innovation and maintain our competitive edge.
  
  

You:

• Ideally, you have a minimum of 2 years work experience delivering technology projects within Financial institutions or enterprise firms.
• You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Actuarial Sciences or quantitative field.
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically about complex technical challenges.
• You have experience writing data transformation and application code, particularly in Python and Typescript/Javascript.
• You have experience with Spark and big data technology.
• Ideally you have experience with Palantir
• Ideally, you are familiar with REST APIs and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Ideally, you have experience working with LLMs and LangChain.
• Ideally, you have a good working knowledge of Agile software delivery frameworks.
• You have experience with client-facing integration, implementation engineering, or solution architecture roles, in B2B software product companies.
