Frontend Developer

Citytax is a revolutionary startup that is breaking boundaries in tourism and local government services. Our mission is to create a cutting-edge digital solution that enables municipalities to collect tourism taxes transparently and efficiently. By empowering local governments, we aim to increase budgets for infrastructure projects and other essential initiatives that directly benefit local communities. Our vision is to become the go-to service provider worldwide, transforming how tourism taxes are managed.

We are currently in the MVP development phase, and we are looking for a Front-End Developer to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in building our platform.

As a Front-End Developer at Citytax, you will work closely with our Front-End Lead and CTO to bring our vision to life. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around building and refining the MVP while creating various user interfaces and back-end logic. The ideal candidate is passionate about solving real-world problems and enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.

• Collaborate with the Front-End Lead and CTO to develop the platform from MVP to launch.
• Design and implement scalable front-end solutions using the latest React version.
• Create and maintain user interfaces, including:

1. Various UI dashboards.
2. Develop an intuitive and efficient Admin Panel for internal users.

• Assist in the design and implementation of complex application logic for ongoing project needs.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and maintainability of the platform.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Actively participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team discussions.

• Strong proficiency in React for front-end development.
• Knowledge of modern front-end workflows, including state management (e.g., Redux or Context API).
• Familiar with UI frameworks such as Tailwind and Material UI
• Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, including Agile methodologies.

• Knowledge of Next.js Framework and Vite;
• Previous experience working with localization;
• Experience in tourism, government, or financial systems development.

The salary range in this position starts from 1600 EUR and is up to 2300 EUR Net per month.
