Jr. Product Manager

Joker Games, a remote mobile gaming company based in Istanbul, started in 2017 with a bang by introducing "Batak Club," our signature game that has become a huge success in Turkey. Now, we are on a mission to revolutionize our genre and develop high-quality evergreen mobile games for players around the world.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the product manager in continuously improving our product development efforts.
• Define in-game events, push notifications, live ops, etc.
• Analyze competitors that could impact our success.
• Understand, research, and follow trends in the gaming industry.
• Create innovative Facebook and Instagram posts, and measure their impact through shares and engagement.
• Support players by answering their questions and resolving their problems.
• Drive the overall research strategy, discover innovative features, and ensure that product decisions are data-driven.
• Gain deep insights into customer needs.
• Understand user behaviors and needs, solve their problems, offer awesome features, and make the game more fun than ever.

Required Skills:

• Fluent in both spoken and written Turkish and English.
• Fresh graduate with a bachelor's degree or 1 year of experience in product management for consumer products.
• Creative, determined, and a quick learner.
• Strong reporting and presentation skills.
• Analytical thinking and multitasking abilities.
• Understanding of free-to-play game systems and economies.
• Experience in consumer mobile or game development is preferred, but not required.
• Passionate about games and creating engaging, fun, and addictive user experiences.
• Ability to create wireframes, product specifications, and white papers.
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative modeling skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Understanding of game mechanics, gameplay elements, art, and content.
• Ability to provide clear direction, set measurable goals, and provide insight on industry and competitor trends.
• Previous start-up experience is a strong advantage.
