Senior Embedded Engineer (Low-Level & High-Speed Design)
Who we are and how we work
We are a team of high-caliber engineers who thrive on solving complex, high-tech challenges. Our culture is built on technical excellence, deep collaboration, and continuous learning. We work on cutting-edge embedded systems for industries where performance, reliability, and efficiency are non-negotiable.
Expect to work with some of the best engineers in the field—people who will challenge you, support your growth, and push you to elevate your skills. If you join us, you'll be stepping into an environment that values:
- Engineering first—we build things that matter
- Deep technical ownership—solve real problems, not just tasks
- Autonomy with accountability—you drive your work, we back you up
- Growth-driven mindset—expect mentorship, structured learning, and real career progression
The problems you will solve and why it matters:
Our work powers mission-critical embedded systems—from medical devices that save lives to high-performance industrial automation that optimizes global operations. We design and implement low-level, high-speed embedded software where efficiency and reliability are everything.
As a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer, you’ll:
- Architect and implement low-level embedded software in C/C++ for performance-critical applications
- Solve complex memory and real-time processing challenges
- Optimize systems for low latency, high speed, and maximum reliability
- Collaborate with hardware and FPGA teams to design seamless solutions
- Lead code reviews, mentoring, and best practices adoption
- Work in an agile, multidisciplinary team that values expertise over egos
What you need to bring:
- 6+ years of experience in embedded software development (C/C++)
- Strong experience with low-level, high-speed design and real-time systems
- Experience with memory management, performance optimization, and hardware-software interfacing
- Solid grasp of UML, OOP, Unit testing, Agile methodologies, and software architecture principles
- Bonus: Experience with Matlab, Python, Rust, FPGA development, or PCB design
- Fluent English (Dutch is a plus)
You will thrive if you like to go beyond surface-level understanding; you don't just write code, you engineer solutions; you take pride in writing elegant software; you elevate those around you and drive technical discussions.
The hiring process: How we find the right fit
- Initial call – Let’s talk about your experience, motivations, and technical interests
- Technical challenge – A real-world problem designed to assess your coding skills and problem-solving approach
- Deep-dive interview – Discussion with senior engineers to explore your technical decision-making and approach to complex systems
- Final conversation – Aligning expectations, values, and long-term fit
We’re not looking for generalists—we want specialists who take pride in mastering low-level, high-performance embedded systems. If that’s you, we’d love to hear from you.
Apply now and let’s build something incredible together! If you want additional information, feel free to reach out to our recruiter Theofania Anastasopoulou ([email protected]).
