Electronics Hardware Engineer

This role blends digital hardware development with traditional PCB engineering for the space industry. You will own the complete design and verification flow of high-reliability systems, collaborating closely with semiconductor, software, and system architects.

Key Responsibilities

• Digital Architecture & PCB Design: Design multi-layer PCBs, architect digital/mixed-signal subsystems, select components, and perform schema/layout reviews.
• FPGA Development: Implement and verify FPGA logic (Verilog), handle timing closure, synthesis, simulations (e.g., CocoTB), and support HIL verification.
• Embedded Integration: Develop low-level firmware (C/Rust) for microcontrollers and implement communication protocols (SPI, I²C, CAN, SpaceWire, etc.).
• Testing & Qualification: Lead board bring-up, debugging, and create test plans for demanding space-grade environmental and radiation conditions.
• Leadership: Guide and mentor junior engineers while driving high-quality design standards and hardware reuse.

What We Are Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (or equivalent).
• Hard Skills: Strong experience in PCB design/bring-up, FPGA development (Verilog/VHDL), and embedded C systems. Deep understanding of the full electronics lifecycle.
• Plusses: Experience with space standards (ECSS), radiation mitigation, high-speed interfaces, CocoTB/SystemVerilog, and Python scripting.
