Full-Stack C# Developer

What We Are Looking For:

We are seeking a C# .Net Developer for a backend-focused role with some frontend responsibilities. The candidate will work on expanding a global analytics application suite, with an initial focus on enhancing an Excel-based data management add-in for the trading floor. Collaboration with brokers, analysts, researchers, and data scientists is a key aspect of the role.

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop strategic analytics APIs and applications as part of a distributed team.
• Expand and enhance the functionality of an Excel add-in used for live data management.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle, from requirements definition to delivery.
• Work directly with end users to gather requirements and deliver value-driven features.
• Collaborate with the global team in daily scrum meetings, peer reviews, and design sessions.
• Write testable and maintainable code for distributed systems.

Key Skills and Experience:

• C# and .NET Technologies: At least 4 years of experience developing global enterprise solutions.
• High-Volume Data Solutions: Experience with caching and data distribution technologies.
• Database Management: Strong SQL skills, with experience in Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
• Front-End Development: Exposure to WPF is a plus.
• Commodities Trading Knowledge: Understanding of market data and trading concepts is beneficial.
• Agile Development: Experience with scrum methodologies.
• Continuous Integration and Delivery: Awareness of these technologies and concepts.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Ability to work with stakeholders to refine design and meet business needs.
• Effective collaboration in a global, distributed team environment.

Educational Background:

• A degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.

Role Focus:

• This role is primarily backend-focused, involving heavy data processing, API development, and integration with distributed systems.
• Frontend responsibilities are limited to Excel add-in development and optional WPF exposure.
