Senior UX/UI Designer

Position Summary

AXA Partners is looking for an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join the CLP IT team. You will join a diverse, skilled and experienced team where the role requires a motivated individual who has a proven track record delivering within an agile environment.

The Senior UX/UI Designer will be responsible for designing User Experiences across wide variety of internal and customer facing web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design process for new features and products, from ideation to execution, ensuring a seamless user experience for both businesses and customers
• Working closely with product owners, business analysts, engineers, and other stakeholders to align on product goals and deliver designs that meet both business and user needs
• Designing intuitive and visually appealing interfaces for B2B and B2C solutions that simplify complex insurance processes for our partners
• Deliver detailed wireframes, user flows, visual design and artifacts to agile development teams and refine as needed during project sprints
• Liaise with the Product Owners, Product Managers, Developers and Testers in the Product Squad to ensure they are aligning the designs and experiences provided
• Be an advocate for the customer and foster a shared understanding of a customer-first approach in the organization
• Participate in Agile Ceremonies with Product Owners and business stakeholders
• Participate in and lead client/stakeholder workshops and meetings
• Confident in presenting and explaining creative ideas to senior stakeholders and colleagues

Your Profile

Key Skills & Experience

• 5+ years experience as a UX/UI Designer in an agile environment
• Business Analysis Qualification and/or Scrum certification essential
• The ability to empathize with users and understand their needs, translating these insights into intuitive and user-friendly design solutions for insurance products
• Proficiency in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design, including creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that enhance the usability and visual appeal of insurance solutions
• Mastery of Figma, or other relevant software to create and iterate on design concepts efficiently
• Capability to leverage user research, analytics, and A/B testing to make informed design decisions and continuously improve the performance of insurance products
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, and the ability to communicate design rationale and insights clearly
• Work with the Product Owner in the elicitation, design & documentation of requirements
• Skill to run workshops with the business stakeholders and the development team
• Design thinking: ability to analyse customer requirements and view the bigger picture
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS to help engage in design conversations with developers
• Have a good understanding of accessibility standards
