Job Title: Manager - Data Intelligence

Objective:

• Manager, Data Intelligence is responsible for working with key stakeholders in identifying, developing, and implementing high value use-cases for the organization.
• Conducting in-depth analysis, developing Proof of Concepts, codifying and suggesting prescriptive recommendations informed by data that will drive revenue, optimize costs and increase operational efficiency.
• Creating and maintaining strategic relationships across PHG and its entities. Continuously identifying and documenting new initiatives and use cases to leverage data assets.
• Oversee the monitoring of previously implemented use cases, provide quantifiable results while suggesting areas of improvement.
• Experience in leading a team and/or projects in the AI, ML and analytics space especially in relation to the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the team that analyzes large and complex datasets to derive actionable insights and meaningful patterns.
• Translate complex data and analytical concepts to consumable business insights and create roadmap for execution.
• Deliver use cases in alignment with departmental and organisational strategic goals and objectives.
• Work with stakeholders to understand and act upon key data sources across PHG and its entities.
• With the identified and prioritised use cases, direct data scientists and analysts to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities that inform strategic decision-making.
• Work with management, key stakeholders, PHG and its entities to document new areas of opportunity to leverage data, including but not limited to revenue generation, cost optimistion, operational efficiencies, clinical excellence, and optimized patient experience.
• Monitor use case performance against agreed key performance indicators (KPIs) with the intention to measure the effectiveness of deployed use cases.
• Produce compelling presentations, tools, reports etc to clearly and concisely articulate objectives, benefits and results of use cases to leadership.
• Drive cross-functional teams to execute projects successfully. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that drives excellence.
• Defines appropriate analytical models necessary to support use cases such as segmentation, predictive insights and Analytics.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Statistics or related major or equivalent business experience. Master degree preferred.
• Recent experience as a data intelligence manager in a relevant organization preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in data analytics, data science and advanced analytics.
• Ideally have a consulting background or be able to demonstrate a consultative approach to problem solving
• Strong ‘storyteller’, able to produce clear and compelling presentations to clients across the organization.
• Relevant and direct experience in deploying use cases based on business requirements and strategic objectives.
• A strong team and customer-focused manager with a demonstrated ability to manage a talented data team in a complex, global business environment.
• Significant experience in developing successful strategic initiatives to deliver value based on business objectives, insights and ROI.
