Operations Analyst – Global Investment Company

Our client is a Global Investment firm, founded more than 15 years ago and employs approximately 400 people around the world. Located in nine countries, the company invest in a various range of companies at all stages of growth to offer long term profitable solutions.

The Luxembourg office is composed by a small team of less than 10 ambitious and passionate people. Our client value the quality of work delivered to its final customers. They are all driven by the same passion and working towards common goals and values.

They are currently looking for an Operations Analyst to strengthen their team and presence in Luxembourg. The objective: to be responsible for the Luxembourg entities holding and financing investments across multiple strategies and jurisdictions.

The Role

• Track cash flow and initiate treasury transactions in alignment with investment structuring needs.
• Establish frameworks for investment structures and transactions by collaborating with investment professionals, external and internal legal counsel, tax, and compliance teams, ensuring strong cross-functional communication and coordination.
• Supervise distributions and arrange repatriations to meet structuring requirements.
• Ensure timely and precise setup of new investments across different platforms.
• Coordinate with service providers in various locations to manage portfolio company operations.
• Manage the implementation of transfer pricing recommendations from external advisors.
• Support the central processing of accounts payable.
• Develop, implement, and monitor high-standard operational controls and procedures.
• Contribute to operational improvements through process redesign or technological enhancements.
• Prepare documentation and present topics for Board meeting discussions.
• Support entity formation, KYC procedures, entity management, and oversight.
• Engage in special projects as needed across multiple jurisdictions.
  
  

The Profile

• 3-5 years’ experience in Luxembourg in (a combination of) service providers or alternative asset management firms
• Fluent in English / French and/or German considered as an asset
• Strong grasp of Luxembourg structures, including the accounting treatment for different financial instruments
• Open-minded, exhibiting key behaviours such as teamwork, ownership, agility, proactivity, and innovation.
• Enthusiastic about proposing new ideas and implementing practical, effective solutions.
• Details focused and proactive mindset
