📍 Position based in Lintgen, Luxembourg

Relocation planned this year to our brand-new Industry 4.0 plant in Bissen, a modern site designed to enhance both team collaboration and industrial performance.

💼 Your mission: as an R&D Design Technician, you play a key role in developing and improving products through precise 2D/3D design and technical documentation.

Combining mechanical expertise and strong organization, you support project follow-up, ensure compliance with procedures, and contribute to delivering reliable, production-ready solutions.

General Requirements

  • Assists the R&D team to develop new products and improve current products
  • Is responsible for the drafting of new products and changing existing products
  • Produces 2D and 3D designs in accordance to :
    • Customer's specifications requirements (given by R&D engineers)
    • Supplier's requirements (to ensure production feasibility)
    • Internal ideas: R&D team, Sales managers, Front offices (controlled by R&D engineers)
  • Perform simple manual operations such as drilling, threading, and assembling of parts and elements of hydraulic and electromechanical systems
  • Gathers all necessary information (material, dimension, forms) and indicates them on the product’s or project’s design
  • Is responsible for the documentation in relation with design activities: ensures proper housekeeping of the R&D database by implementing and maintaining fitted methods of documentation and by updating constantly the software database
  • Performs any other additional task required by his line manager within the bounds of his acquired or potential skills. (e.g. follow up of purchase from prototype parts; follow up SAP orders, simple calculation)
  • Has to respect the Rotarex procedures
  • Attends trainings to improve his technical skills
  • Support for the development of technical files in collaboration with the engineer and / or the supervisor - interface with the certification body
Required Skills

  • Have good technical knowledge in mechanical design
  • Have good organizational skills
  • Extensive knowledge in design with the 3D CAD system CATIA V5
