We are looking for Product Manager for Information Systems

to work in Ponsse Product Management & PMO Team in Finland

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the Ponsse information systems product category, which includes day-to-day decision-making and hands-on collaboration with end customers, as well as high-level strategic planning. In this role, you will play a key role in developing and managing Ponsse's product roadmap and product line strategy. Your responsibilities will range from competitor and market research to understanding customer needs across all segments, collecting product feedback, and defining new product requirements. You will also be the primary point of contact at exhibitions, customer events, and across various Ponsse departments. You will manage day-to-day product feature decisions, ensure continuous improvement, and support business case planning. Ultimately, you will shape the direction of Ponsse’s product line to deliver industry-leading solutions.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanics, electrics, automation, control systems or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in an R&D managerial role or in a role such as Project Manager, Product Manager, Sales Manager or Marketing Manager
• Proven record of successful project management, turning customer needs into real developments.
• Experience with perception- , machine control- , automation systems-, moving off road machinery and connectivity solutions
• Skilled in creating and developing product roadmaps and strategies and strong vision of commercializing operator assistance products.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken; other languages are an advantage.
• Readiness to travel internationally (over 30 days per year).

This position is located in Tampere, Kajaani, Kuopio or Vieremä. We are working hybrid model. Some amount of travelling will be required in this role.
