Junior Data Analyst

On behalf of our client, a well-established retail company, we are seeking a Junior Data Analyst to be part of their Learning and Development Team with a focus on data management and process optimisation. This role is ideal for a professional with strong analytical skills and experience in learning management systems who is looking to make a meaningful impact in the learning and development space.

Key Responsibilities

The Learning Coordinator will be responsible for managing and analysing learning program data, designing and maintaining dashboards, and implementing automation tools to streamline administrative processes. A key aspect of the role will be leveraging learning management system (LMS) functionalities to improve reporting accuracy, standardise data collection methods, and enhance overall efficiency. The role also involves tracking and reporting on learning program ROI, identifying process inefficiencies, and collaborating with IT and digital learning teams to optimise system capabilities.

Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have strong data analysis capabilities and hands-on experience with learning management systems, particularly in managing reports, tracking completion rates, and optimising workflows. Proficiency in Excel and data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau is highly desirable. A background in learning analytics, process improvement, and performance metrics will be advantageous. Familiarity with automation tools, dashboard creation, and basic SQL knowledge for data extraction would also be beneficial. Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a structured approach to process optimisation are essential qualities for this role.
