Job Description

As a Frontend Team Lead you will be joining our frontend community of over 1000 talented frontend developers. At Wix, a Frontend TeamLeads is responsible for the technical side of the projects and for the people management. As a team leader your goal is to ensure that the product is feasible in a discovery phase; can be done in a fair timeline; deliver it to production and your team show up during product research and development processes. Working closely with product managers, designers, developers, QAs and other team leaders is part of your day-to-day responsibilities.

• Manage a team of 4-5 frontend developers
• Participate in the discovery phase of the features and help them to become a reality.
• Lead or manage the technical researches for new products
• Be responsible for team growth and development (people management and team management)
• Mentor and advise the team in code review, pair programming etc.
• Share knowledge and collaborate with other teams
• Discover the technical debt and help with its liquidation.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Experienced in team leading for at least 3+ years
• Possess strategic thinking and a strong grasp of the product life cycle, from research to prototyping, technical design, development, post production support.
• Proficient in modern frontend technologies (Typescript, React, Webpack, Redux, RxJS, etc.)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills with a passion for learning new things.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Capable of collaborating and brainstorming with individuals of varying skill levels.
• Proficient in leading and mentoring team members in complex projects.
