DevSecOps Engineer (Freshful Team)

What you’ll have to do:

Maintain and scale Freshful's Cloud infrastructure, with a focus on AWS, ensuring systems are reliable, performant, and cost-efficient.
Implement security measures and governance policies - not just deploying controls, but writing policies, ensuring they are in place, and running periodic compliance reviews.
Administer and maintain Kubernetes infrastructure, handling day-to-day operations and longer-term capacity planning.
Monitor application performance and infrastructure health, building observability across the entire stack using tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
Track and optimize Cloud costs on an ongoing basis.
Manage vulnerabilities and ensure security controls are in place at the Cloud and network level, including data protection measures.
Integrate tools for risk analysis, vulnerability detection, prevention, and remediation.
Write infrastructure as code using Terraform - scripting and automation are a core part of the day-to-day, not just configuration management.
Participate in production incident response alongside the team; contribute to a prioritized backlog following a Kanban workflow, owning tasks or projects based on scope.
Take part in on-call rotation (one week at a time) alongside the two existing senior DevOps engineers.

What makes you a good fit:

5+ years of experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or DevSecOps role.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud - familiarity with GCP or Azure is a plus.
Proficiency in Terraform.
Solid scripting skills in Python or Go.
Experience with Kubernetes administration and day-to-day operations.
Familiarity with observability tooling - Grafana, Prometheus, and Istio.
Good understanding of network-level security controls and Cloud security best practices.
Experience managing vulnerabilities and implementing security governance policies.
Proficiency in using AI tools as part of your daily workflow.
Strong communication skills, initiative, and the ability to self-prioritize in a fast-moving environment.

What makes you stand out:

Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Service Mesh architectures.
AWS DevOps or equivalent Cloud certification.
Demonstrated ability to proactively identify risks and drive improvements.
