Group Leader Design – Trailers

We are looking for an experienced Group Leader Design to lead the development of advanced low bed trailers with a skilled engineering team. In this leadership role, you will have the opportunity to work on innovative and complex design projects, contributing to the continued success of our low bed trailer program.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Design Development: Work closely with a team of engineers to develop and enhance the design of advanced low bed trailers and their components.
• Product Improvement: Implement design solutions for existing products to improve performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Technology Development: Play an active role in the development of new technologies that align with the company’s strategic goals.
• Construction Documentation: Prepare and oversee the construction documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Team Leadership: Lead the design team, ensuring projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the design of advanced low bed trailers or similar transport solutions.
• Proven track record in managing and successfully completing complex design projects.
• Strong CAD design skills, particularly with structural weldments, FEA simulation, and PDM systems.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively across departments.
• Fluency in both German and English.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet business objectives.
