I have an exciting opportunity for a Golang Engineer working with one of the world's leading financial services client


Job Title: Golang Engineer (Contract)


Location: Germany (Remote work available)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable backend systems using Golang.
  • Design and implement microservices architectures, ensuring that components are independently scalable and fault-tolerant.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services.
  • Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability in a cloud-native environment (AWS/GCP).
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code with a focus on testing and maintainability.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Ensure the security and performance of the application in a regulated environment.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience as a backend developer, with at least 2 years focused on Golang.
  • Strong experience with microservices, REST APIs, and developing cloud-native applications.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
