Lead Developer- Trading Platform

We are looking to hire a Lead Developer – Trading Platform who will be responsible for leading the architecture, development, and delivery of a next-generation web and mobile financial trading platform for our client based in Turkey.

This is a permanent role within the organization.

The role sits within the Technology Department and reports directly to the Head of Engineering.

We are looking for a passionate Lead Developer- Trading Platform with experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performance financial applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in React, React Native, Node.js, PostgreSQL, cloud-native technologies, and microservices architecture, along with experience delivering real-time applications in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end technical design, development, and deployment of the trading platform across web and mobile channels.
• Define and own the platform architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Design and develop responsive web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Lead the development of React Native mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js and microservices architecture.
• Design, optimize, and manage PostgreSQL databases for high-volume transactional workloads.
• Implement real-time data streaming and event-driven solutions using WebSockets and messaging technologies.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and deployments across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code solutions.
• Ensure adherence to security best practices, regulatory requirements, and software engineering standards.
• Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and promote engineering excellence across the team.
• Collaborate closely with Product, QA, UX/UI, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver project objectives.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of software development experience, including at least 2 years in a Lead or Senior Technical role.
• Expert-level experience with React, TypeScript, and React Native.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, Express, NestJS, or similar backend frameworks.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Strong PostgreSQL database design, optimization, and performance tuning experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Proven experience developing real-time applications using WebSockets, event streaming, or messaging technologies.
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and application security principles.
• Experience integrating with third-party APIs, financial systems, or trading platforms is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, Elasticsearch, or similar technologies is advantage.
• Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
