DevOps Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated DevOps Specialist to join our client team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation, reliability, and scalability of our PLM systems. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our DevOps infrastructure, automating deployments, and integrating PLM platforms with other critical systems. This position requires deep expertise in PLM systems, DevOps practices, and cloud technologies, particularly AWS.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement PLM systems, including multi-server production environments (AWS cloud experience preferred).
• Install and configure PLM platforms.
• Design and configure reverse proxies and load balancers in lower and production environments.
• Automate PLM platform installations and design/implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Design and implement DevOps tools (e.g., GitHub Actions) to automate installations, builds, deployments, and monitor PLM platform applications.
• Design and implement integrations between PLM platforms and other systems, such as ERP.
• Provide production support and communicate effectively with customers.
• Develop Shell/Batch scripts to automate routine activities.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, messaging systems, containerization, and test automation.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Helm, Terraform, and Docker.
• Utilize monitoring tools such as Stack Trace, Dynatrace, and DataDog.
• Manage and maintain Oracle and MS SQL databases.
• Adhere to AWS cloud best practices, architecture design principles, and utilize associated tools and technologies.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing PLM systems.
• Proven experience in installing and configuring PLM platforms, including multi-server production environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Expertise in designing and configuring reverse proxies and load balancers.
• Extensive experience in automating PLM platform installations and implementing CI/CD pipelines. (Windchill)
• Proficiency in DevOps tools like GitHub Actions.
• Experience integrating PLM platforms with other systems (e.g., Windchill).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong scripting skills (Shell/Batch).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, messaging, containerization, and test automation.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Helm, Terraform, and Docker.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Stack Trace, Dynatrace, and DataDog.
• Experience with Oracle and MS SQL databases.
• Deep understanding of AWS cloud practices, architecture design, and associated tools and technologies.
