Data Scientist

Our client Signal simplifies the $15 billion US used vehicle import market, an industry long dependent on manual processes. Our vertically integrated SaaS platform enables dealers to buy, finance, process and sell vehicles more efficiently than ever before.

In this role you will leverage innovative data science to enable actionable insights, build and deploy innovative, AI-enhanced data products, and foster a company-wide data-driven culture. We are seeking a Data Scientist who thrives on solving complex problems, delivering impactful insights, and collaborating with an energized, high-performing team.

As a Data Scientist you will:

- Conduct reproducible research that delivers actionable insights to customers and members of the business team

- Collaborate with data science team peers to define research problems, objectives, and methods

- Drive innovation across the machine learning spectrum, from developing regression and classification models to implementing cutting-edge computer vision systems and autonomous AI agents

- Work closely with business team members to create and deliver research objectives that meet their needs

- Develop and maintain accurate, reliable models to support business decision-making

- Monitor model performance (e.g., accuracy, coverage) and address performance issues proactively

What we expect you to have:

- Advanced degree or substantial experience in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field

- Proficiency in statistics, machine learning, and AI

- Working knowledge of when and how to apply distinct machine learning models, e.g., gradient boosted decision trees vs neural networks vs ARIMA vs LLM

- Experience with or eagerness to learn programming in Python and SQL

- Proven record of accomplishment in delivering data-driven insights

Salary

Gross salary FROM 4,000 EUR based on skills and experience.
