PayAlly is seeking a QA Engineer with test automation experience to join our expanding business.
We expect the individual to be process driven and well organised, with the ability to set standards for themselves and the wider stakeholders and then respectively build the related processes.
While QA practice entails both manual and automated testing, we want to use automation to the maximum extent possible, to support a near real-time releases with respective CI/CD pipelines.
We expect the QA Engineer to be curious, self-driven, able to work on their own initiative, while ensuring their alignment with the team.
This role allows for remote working, however, the ability and willingness to work in the Vilnius office a day or two a week to stay connected with the business is required.
Responsibilities
Ultimately, take ownership of the product quality and drive it forward
Build the quality assurance practice with the focus on automation
Define and manage QA standards and procedures
Articulate and document choice of the test frameworks and tools
Provide data driven, quantified metrics of the product quality
Collaborate with product owners and developers on solution designs, sprint and release planning and respective estimations
Create test plans, test sets, and automation cases
Create and manage the necessary front-end and back-end tests
Assist the team in diagnosing and solving issues
Requirements
5+ years of experience in quality assurance with automation
Banking, payments, financial services experience
Proven ability to organise QA processes
Hand-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools, with CI/CD pipelines
Proficiency with Python, SQL
Willingness to learn on their own
Willingness and the ability to push the status quo, challenge conventional thinking while managing people’s expectations
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good written and spoken English
Willingness and ability to work from the Vilnius office a couple of days per week
EU passport (we do not provide visa sponsorship)
Nice to have
Experience working with microservices architecture
Salary ranges:
2,800 – 3,800 gross eur/month
