Human Resources Generalist

Our manufacturing client is seeking a permanent Human Resources Generalist to join their team! The ideal candidate will have experience with supporting with the delivery of HR services and best practices involving employment and labor relations.

This is an fully on-site position (1-day remote), located in Concord, ON.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Providing guidance on to employees and management regarding labour and employee relations, attendance management, investigations, progressive discipline, time off management, benefits and offboarding.
• Providing advice on HR policies, programs and related legislation.
• Acting as the first point of contact for all employees in the client group for any HR issues.
• Supporting continuous improvement activities and the rolling out and execution of business wide HR projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-5+ years of experience in a similar position
• Unionized environment experience is a strong asset.
• Experience working in a multi-site manufacturing environment is an asset.
• CHRP designation is an asset.
