About the Role

The Australian Digital Health Agency is seeking Full-time Mobile App Developers (APS6) for non-ongoing positions, with the potential to become ongoing roles. As a Mobile App Developer, you will join a dynamic team of highly motivated people, working alongside project teams to deliver the best possible solutions, using the latest technologies and software versions.


Using modern agile development approaches, to deliver in a fast, yet efficient and well tested solutions, the team strives to help with the delivery of the digital health agenda. In this crucial role, you will use your coding skills to build robust, scalable, and intuitive features that enhance user experience and engagement. You will collaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, and product owners to create innovative solutions that meet the needs of Australians. The Mobile App Developer position is key to developing new features and maintaining the My Health App (MHA).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop mobile applications with strong C# skills using modern IDEs like VS2022.
  • Utilize .NET MAUI for iOS and Android features.
  • Manage deployment processes for Google Play and Apple Store.
  • Work with DotNet (ASP.NET Core 8+) and Framework.
  • Implement OAUTH with token exchange.
  • Design and develop APIs.
  • Understand and apply cloud technologies.
  • Apply design patterns.
  • Use CI and CD tools.
  • Perform unit testing and use automation tools.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Use Entity Framework and SQL Databases.
  • Develop client-side applications using Angular 15+, Typescript, and React.


Skills and Experience

  • 3 years minimum experience within Software Mobile App Development
  • Proficient in C# using modern IDEs like VS2022.
  • Strong understanding of deployment processes for Google Play and Apple Store.
  • Previous experience in designing and developing APIs
  • Expertise within .NET MAUI, including iOS and Android features.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in the digital health or public sector is desirable.

Eligibility

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required by the Agency.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain national police check.
  • Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility.
