Job Description
As a DevOps Engineer at Wix, you’ll play a pivotal role in our cloud infrastructure group, driving the development, optimization, and maintenance of our cloud-based infrastructure. You will:
We are Wix’s Infrastructure Guild. We’re at the core of building and maintaining the production and CI/CD environment. Our mission is to improve production performance and resilience to ensure 99.99% uptime for millions of users and drive our developer velocity. We also design, develop, and operate cutting-edge services and robust tools for the entire developer community—both Frontend and Backend.
As a DevOps Engineer at Wix, you’ll play a pivotal role in our cloud infrastructure group, driving the development, optimization, and maintenance of our cloud-based infrastructure. You will:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective cloud solutions
- Manage infrastructure of Kubernetes from different flavors on top of AWS cloud at scale.
- Use your expertise in Linux and networking fundamentals to enhance system performance, security, and reliability
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to ensure consistency and efficiency in deployment processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure and services
- You have at least 5 years of experience working in live production systems
- You have hands-on experience with Kubernetes as a cluster administrator.
- You have experience in Linux and are well-versed in networking fundamentals
- You’ve proven experience with AWS
- You have strong knowledge of provisioning and configuration management systems (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef, etc.)
- You’re familiar with scripting languages like Python and Bash
- You’ve experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
- You have strong communication and collaboration skills
